SCIENTIFIC RATIONALE
The main purpose of the course is to involve participants in the daily routine of a center dedicated to ultrasound evaluation of gynecological diseases.
Starting from ultrasound examination of a patient, a diagnosis will be proposed. The same patient will undergo surgery on the same day or next day, and the surgery will be live streamed. The macroscopic appearance of the surgical specimen and the histological diagnosis (with images) will be provided by a pathologist on the same day or the day after surgery.
Theoretical lectures and literature updates will be provided based on the clinical cases.
