This international event combines scientific excellence, education, and solidarity in a unique and engaging format. During the competition, 15 challenging gynecological ultrasound clinical cases will be presented to an international audience of participants, who will be invited to vote for the most likely diagnosis. Subsequently, all cases will be reviewed and discussed by leading experts, with presentation of the surgical findings and final histological diagnoses. The event has become a valuable opportunity for the global ultrasound community to share knowledge, discuss complex clinical scenarios, and promote high standards in gynecological imaging. As a speaker/chair, your contribution will play a fundamental role in the educational success of this initiative.
This year’s edition carries a particularly important humanitarian mission. Through the World Christmas Competition, we aim to support the project “Ultrasound Training for Cervical Cancer Care in Africa”, a structured educational program designed to strengthen the skills of healthcare professionals working in resource-limited settings. The initiative focuses on competency-based ultrasound training for the diagnosis, staging, and management of cervical cancer, with the ultimate goal of improving women’s health outcomes across Africa through sustainable capacity building and knowledge sharing.
